As we know that the matlab has lot of toolboxes to work with. One such toolbox is simulink but its popularity grew due to its features. With simulink we can simulate models, generate code with one click, best debugging features and soon.
There will be lots of blocksets from different domains that you can be using in the simulink for modelling. Basically modelling is better than coding that's the reason behind the success of simulink.
There are other autocode generation software (like tartgetlink) but the recent versions of simulink coder are providing best efficient code.
